This work in progress will be beautifully situated overlooking the Murray River. The client has carefully selected a site with a favourable northern aspect, to allow for as much passive solar gain as possible to heat the house in winter.

The house features a central thermal mass wall, built from limestone sourced from the site itself and local surrounds. It will be entirely off-grid and self sufficient, relying on harvested rainwater year round and a generous solar array and battery system.

Rough-hewn hardwood portal frames create the roof and wall profile, to be infilled with typical timber frame & cladding.

More to come as this beauty develops! Stay tuned.
